Tony L. Weaver, DO, FACS, is board-certified in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is also an enrolled tribal member of the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians in Mount Vernon, Ala., and is the first and only Native American plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the United States. Dr. Weaver has authored nearly a half dozen peer-reviewed research articles and his work has been presented at multiple regional, national and international conferences.
